Changes!

Okay so it's pretty apparent, but I finally changed the template and graphic for the blog! :-D What do ya think? Again, I did it on MS Word and I really like how Ruby turned out! :) I basically took a picture of her and traced it in Word and added her coloring and VOILA! Pretty dang cool! I may have to redo Winston because I just kinda looked at a picture while drawing him, not knowing I could actually TRACE a picture! It's amazing what you can do when you have limited things to work with! lol...

Another AWESOME change these days is Ruby's attitude/personality! I think she's FINALLY growing past her "I don't want to be near you stage," because she is CONSTANTLY following me around when I get home and she'll even come sit beside me or lay on my leg! :-) I couldn't be happier! I was so scared she wouldn't do even that! Like I said before, I'll make a lapcat out of her yet!!! ;-P There is HOPE! haha...

Also, I recently started putting a harness and leash on Ruby and taking her outside! She had so obviously never been outside before because she was looking around like WHOA! But she loves going for little "walks." I just hope she doesn't try to bolt outside too much! She sure gets close to the door when we open it though! Maybe I can take her to a park sometime and look like a TOTAL Crazy Cat Lady with my Ruby on her leash! hahaha.. That works, right?! ;)

Anyhoo, that's all for now! Stay tuned! :)

  1. Super cute! I love the new logo. And I love the fact that you put a harness on her to take her out. I'm going to be honest, I hate seeing free roaming cats. I know millions of people do it but it bugs the crap out of me cuz I'm tired of having to slam on the brakes when one runs out in front of my car. :P

  3. Thanks you two! :) Tansy, Ruby is the only one I put on a harness! lol. She's the expensive cat and is not allowed outside otherwise, so yea! Winston and Merlin roam free, but they stay around our neighborhood and go off in the fields next to our house, so thankfully I know they're not really encountering traffic that much! Whew! My family has always lived out in the country and just let our cats outside whenever they want, so I'm kind of used to that. And if we lived any closer to "in" the city, then I probably wouldn't have any outside cats! It's just too dangerous! I've seen way too many flattened kitties :(

  4. We have a cat that lives on our road (no idea who it belongs to) who runs out in front of my car EVERY time I drive by the front corner of our street. It never fails. And he's almost all black, so when it's at night, I barely see him in time to brake. I just know I'm either going to see him flat at the front of the street, or be the flattening him. :(
